With Gratitude from Caoimhe Murray to the Castleknock Tidy Towns Team
To all of the volunteers of Castleknock Tidy Towns, I wanted to thank all of the volunteers of Castleknock Tidy Towns for your hard work and dedication over the past few years. Your work has quickly turned our village into a beautiful haven, as well as made it easier and safer for all of our community to spend time out of doors. On behalf of those of us whose health prevent our participation, Thank You! Yours Sincerely, Caoimhe Murray

The Guinnes house
This Guinness house in the centre of the village had been vacant for over thirty years and was deteriorating rapidly and at great risk of vandalism. The vacant premises behind it had been burned down maliciously. Castleknock TidyTowns played a significant part in preserving and restoring this historic building by contacting the owner encouraging him to take positive actions which resulted in the property being put on the market. We’ve achieved so much together this year and are truly grateful to everyone involved. Now it’s time for a well-deserved break from our Saturday Clean-Ups. There’s still plenty to look forward to — our CTT 2026 Calendar is coming out soon and the Village Tree Lighting Ceremony to b

Saturday Clean Up 11th October'25
Lots of great work today! Crocus bulbs were planted along College Road — sure to bring a wonderful burst of colour in early spring. The nearby pollinator bed was weeded and the paths cleared, creating a lovely space for all who pass by or pause at the bench, with some vibrant flowers still blooming. Over at Castleknock Lawn Tennis Club, the CTT team did a fantastic job preparing the flower bed for planting. A great spread of effort and care right across Castleknock Well done
