The Village Shoemakers in the centre of Castleknock village has just stepped into Spring with a (nearly) new window display
Re-using preloved items is the theme of the design which shows that with a little imagination we can repurpose and use things in a different way without compromising style. The curtains were crocheted, the shoes were sourced in a local charity shop and the elves are ready for work in their lovely (home made) Spring clothes. Also An Gréasaí (which means the Shoemaker or Cobbler) might add ‘cúpla focal’ to people's vocabulary! Well done to Siún McDonald from Castleknock Tidy

Choose Peat-Free Compost – Protect Nature from the Ground Up
Why Avoid Peat? Peat has long been used in gardening for its light texture and ability to hold water — but it comes at a huge environmental cost. Peat is not a renewable resource on human timescales.
