Re-using preloved items is the theme of the design which shows that with a little imagination we can repurpose and use things in a different way without compromising style. The curtains were crocheted, the shoes were sourced in a local charity shop and the elves are ready for work in their lovely (home made) Spring clothes.

Also An Gréasaí (which means the Shoemaker or Cobbler) might add ‘cúpla focal’ to people's vocabulary!

Well done to Siún McDonald from Castleknock TidyTowns (Litter Crew Lead) who designed the window with John Rooney’s input, and created the new look bringing the elves, (made in 2024 by local artist Brenna Crushell) back to life once more. Check it out!
