A huge thank you to Fingal Operations Department for promptly arranging the cleaning and repointing of the Castleknock stone nameplate at the junction of College Road and Carpenterstown Road. It looks fantastic. ✨

Castleknock Tidy Towns recently held a site meeting in the village with Traffic Engineers from Fingal County Council to discuss various suggestions we put forward for improving safety issues and traffic management in the area. Further discussions will take place on the actions we requested.

Following our approach to Fingal Co Co to remove a number of footpath obstacles which were causing difficulties for pedestrians, wheelchair users, buggies and walking frame users they promptly responded to our requests and have resolved them. Thank you for all your support and time at the recent Castleknock Tidy Towns' on site walkabout for trips and hazards with Fingal County Council Agreed works were confirmed and we are very happy that FCC have completed many of the items identified at the on site meeting.
