A community in bloom – Fairhaven’s new planting project for Castleknock

CTT is delighted to share Fairhaven have carried out a new planting scheme fully funded by their own residents, under the guidance of the residents committee. The committee comprises of Gar Flinter - Chairman, Annette Balfe - Treasurer and Niall Jones - Secretary. All work was carried out in conjunction with James Lacey, horticulturist and garden designer.

The planting, at the very entrance to this small development, perfectly situated beside Phoenix Park on Castleknock Road, comprises a mix of planting including lots of pollinator friendly plants to encourage biodiversity in Castleknock. Fairhaven plan to add similar planting schemes within Fairhaven over the coming months and years.

Fairhaven are very proud to be part of the Castleknock Tidy Towns area and their contribution helps Castleknock overall and CTT's vision of an active community supporting environmental friendly initiatives.
