It was all happening on Auburn Avenue on Saturday. The CTT Ground Crew were busy edging, weeding, mulching and grass cutting. The place looks great and the paths are more accessible once again.
We're now set up to keep most of the leaves we collect locally for our leaf and mulching bays. Mulching the leaves is a sustainable way of recycling what we have, to make beautifully enriching compost in a year or two. Thanks Fingal Co Co for the composting training and for providing the materials to make the mulching bays.
Our final Wednesday evening Tidy Up for 2021 took place on the Castleknock Road/ Beechpark Ave corner this week too. So, thanks and well done to all the volunteers for the special effort!
