Almost 20 volunteers turned out this morning despite strong winds. Well done everyone who completed the tasks we had set ourselves i.e. of weeding the pollinator bed and spreading mulch under the trees at Church Green. We emptied (and refilled) one compost bay. What fabulously rich compost it was too!
Fingal County Council’s Community Development Office, who support community groups across the county, invited CTT to participate in the development of a short film to showcase our work in Castleknock. A videographer followed us around and undertook some filming as the work at Church Green was underway. Footage from all the TidyTowns groups across Fingal will be screened at the Mayor of Fingal’s Awards 2024 on 1st May.
