Rain may have cancelled yesterday's Saturday Clean Up but lots of volunteers were out during the week continuing the work behind the scenes.
The area under the deer was cleared of fast growing weeds. The deer will graze on clover set under them. The Castleknock Road paths (from the church bus stop down to the entrance to Park Avenue) was cleared of weeds.
And the bed on the Castleknock Road, in front of Wendover, got a little tidy up too. The faded borage was removed and the bed freshened with some new flowers. More compost was worked into the soil too.
There's a real feeling of Autumn approaching out there this week folks!
