Our now monthly Saturday clean up took place on a misty 5th Oct 2019, just outside the Castleknock Gate from the Phoenix Park. Lots of helpers (some new) were on hand to clear back the litter and weeds around the plants and to pop in some new plants, seeds and seedlings. The crew even managed to unearth the end of the Phoenix Park cream railings and the lovely corner granite pillar once more.
Some of the team posed with the Fingal County Council Greener Community Award in the 'Business and the Community' category. Myo's and Silver Spoon particularly, provided great support and partnership to Castleknock Tidy Towns in 2019. Thanks too to the many, many local businesses who provided sponsorship and helped transform Castleknock into Fingal's Best Presented Village in 2019.
