The residential areas where benches were installed in 2022 include Beechpark Green (2), Park Avenue Green and entrance (3), Hadleigh Green (2), Ashleigh (2), Castleknock Green (1) and College Grove (1). CTT provided a list of potential locations for the new benches at residential streets along the main road, the heart of the village and within residential estates to FCC Operations Dept. And FCC then installed 11 wooden park benches across Castleknock (in July/August 2022). These benches are made locally by the Council staff (based on a design suggested by CTT, spotted elsewhere). This marked an important enhancement of our residential areas involving new public infrastructure which is functional, sustainable and visually attractive.
