CTT AGM - 25th April '24

Updated: Apr 27

This year's CTT AGM went off well with lively engagement and participation from the attendees. Sure, weren't we all after enjoying tea, coffee and cake on arrival!

Evelyn Pender gave the Chairperson's Address which highlighted just some of the projects and activities undertaken in the past 12 months. James Anderson, Treasurer outlined the fundraising work carried out over the past 12 months. He also detailed the CTT Income and Expenditure for 2023. Patricia Sheehan, CTT Sustainability Environmental Lead on the committee, then delivered a very inspiring presentation 'Sustainable Castleknock' which demonstrated very clearly the positive impact of the CTT's activities in 2023, from a mitigating carbon emissions point of view.

Alfie, (aged 13) from the Castleknock 175th Scout Troop attended the AGM and contributed lots of observations and ideas. He was out planting trees with CTT and the Scout Troop last year and when he saw the AGM advertised on social media recently, he decided to come along. Impressive!

Minister Roderic O'Gorman came along too and supported the evening. Cllr. John Walsh won the free raffle prize of a Spring planter. Thanks to everyone who helped to organise the evening, baked, attended and took part in the various discussions. It was a most worthwhile, annual event!
