WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT - Eco-friendly Garden Competition

This year's Castleknock TidyTowns Annual Garden Competition celebrated eco-friendly gardening and the many ways residents are helping nature thrive.

Entrants assessed their gardens against 12 eco-friendly actions, highlighting the sustainable features and biodiversity-friendly practices they have incorporated into their garden.

The 2026 winners are:

Winner: Paolo Carbone 8/12

First Runner Up: Alicia Falvey 7.5/12

Second Runner Up: Linda Byrne 6/12

Congratulations to our winner, runners-up and everyone who entered this year's competition. Every eco-friendly action, no matter how small, contributes to making Castleknock a greener, healthier and more biodiverse place to live.
