Fantastic to see the OPW taking advantage of the closure of the Castleknock Gates to resurface Chesterfield Avenue between Mountjoy Roundabout and the gates. The dirt track (see photos) is marked out so it looks like they are also completing the footpath.
It's smart thinking by the OPW Phoenix Park Management to combine work on the gates with road and footpath works, thereby minimising inconvenience.
