Castleknock Gate gets a welcome makeover

Yesterday over 20 volunteers worked outside the Phoenix Park gates leading to Castleknock. In 2 hours, they planted up along the railings and under the granite stone. And they cleared back the ivy which was covering the path again and trimmed plenty of low hanging branches along Castleknock Road. They filled SEVEN one-ton bags of compostable waste. Well done and thank you to everyone who volunteered. And welcome to all our new volunteers, more arriving each week! Then it was back to Myo's afterwards to enjoy a cup of tea and treats from Silver Spoon. Thanks!
