Following further requests from CTT, Fingal County Council have provided more benches recently in the following locations:
Park Avenue - 1 extra
Beechpark/Church Green - 2 extra
The benches dotted around Castleknock (and Dublin 15) have proven to be a great success. They are used frequently by individuals (resting or reading), pairs (chatting or chuckling) and parents (overseeing fun and games). They add an extra dimension to the green spaces and give people a chance to enjoy a little break in pleasant surroundings.
Many thanks to CTT volunteers Anne and Matthew, who did the verging along one edge of Park Avenue and really set off that area with the existing bench. Sunset there is a very special experience!
