Rain did NOT stop the determination of one volunteer in particular to complete a project getting the chains around the heart of the village replaced. Over 80 metres of new chain was installed and welded in place to replace missing chains. Broken links and mis-fitted chains were also repaired. The new uniform chains are undercoated and will be painted asap, weather permitting!
