Great turnout once more, this time to look after the Park Drive roundabout and surrounding area. Volunteers cleared back verges and weeded the edges of all the barriers. Litter picking also took place in a variety of spots around Castleknock Village, and at both the Ashleigh and Park Avenue Open Orchards. With the fine weather, the place is starting to look very colourful indeed. The new pollinator bed at the bus stop outside Ashleigh is looking particularly well. And there are some wonderful tulips and flowers now blooming in lots of gardens we spotted too. Camassia is providing that beautiful purple fringe on the top of the long grass on the bottom of Auburn Avenue. Enjoy it all folks and let's try to keep ahead of those weeds, which seem to be growing at a pace of knots now that the weather has picked up! Thanks to everyone who helped out.
