On Saturday, it was the turn of Castleknock Road (at the entrance to Park Avenue/and along the top of Beechpark Ave) to get the LOVE. The verges were trimmed, a grass edge was cut on the no mow areas and the paths were cleared. The rock hard soil at the flower bed at Wendover was dug over and mulched, shrubs were clipped back and tidied up and fresh pollinator plants were added. So that should add some colour in the coming weeks. Finally, bark was added to the front of the bed to keep moisture in and weeds down. The rose bed at Castello Bruno was also weeded which was quite a big job. But the weather was fine and the team retired to Myo's for a welcome cuppa. Thanks to everyone who helped out!
