A very energetic CTT ground crew worked hard around the Castleknock Gate area of the Phoenix Park on Saturday.
Litter was collected, the large bed was weeded, paths were swept and the area under the Castleknock stone was cleared and made ready for planting. This planting was carried out with donated plants during the following days.
The path leading to the bus stop opposite the Park wall was edged. The area at the bus shelter was cleaned up and swept. Weeds were cleared from the pavements.
At the top of Auburn Ave, outside the Health Centre, cobble lock was cleaned, briars were cut back and areas under the pedestrian barriers were weeded.
Thanks Jimmy Maguire who was out painting once more to finish the bollards as well as the huge sign at Castleknock Shopping Centre (hopefully in advance of the TidyTowns adjudicator's visit to Castleknock). We are most grateful for your help Jimmy. Thanks so much for volunteering to give your time and skills to CTT and Castleknock.
It was great to have a strong team out together in advance of the Castleknock Village Festival. Delighted to welcome another family of volunteers in to our CTT fold too. Thanks to everyone who took part in the Clean Up this week!
