Weekly Sat Clean Up 10th May'25

On Saturday 10th May, on a beautiful sunny day, our volunteers gathered for a village clean-up.

Cobblelock outside St Brigid’s Church and along College Road was cleared of weeds as far as the village pump. Special attention was given to the area underneath the two village benches and around the bases of the black bollards. Low hanging branches were cut to increase sunlight in the area.

More cobblelock and flower beds stretching from Myos down to Auburn Avenue were cleared of weeds. Edging carried out to reclaim the full width of the footpaths, enhancing pedestrian access and giving a well-cared look to the village.

This marks a promising start to the summer season, maintaining and beautifying our shared spaces in Castleknock. Well done everyone!
