Enjoy the bank holiday folks. Thinking of all our CTT team, wherever you are.
There was a great turnout of volunteers this weekend, who achieved a lot:
weeding the pavements and clearing the cobble lock on sections of College Road and Castleknock Road closest to the village centre
weeding the pollinator beds
tending the rosebed on College Road
the rosebed on Castleknock Road was done earlier in the week so the pavement from Myo’s to the bed was cleared of weeds
the benches at the church wall got a scrub too
the pavement in front of Castleknock Cottages was also weeded and swept
Special thanks goes to Jimmy Maguire of Interior Spray Ireland who offered to paint the chains and bollards in Castleknock Village for us. He began this work on Saturday and already, what a transformation! We are sincerely grateful.
So thanks to everyone who joined in and made a real difference to the village this weekend.
