Sedum roof

Interesting to note that LIDL Castleknock has a sedum green roof. You can view it out of the window at the top of the escalators.

The sedum plants on green roofs can capture airborne pollutants and capture CO2. The temperature-moderating effects can reduce demand on power plants, and potentially decrease the amount of CO2 and other polluting by-products being released into the air. Nice!
