Sat Clean Up - 8th April '23

A healthy number of CTT volunteers showed up on the Easter bank holiday weekend, to plant the remaining native Irish trees and whips which CTT sourced to plant across Castleknock. That brings the total number of trees and hedging planted by CTT in just 3 weeks to 500. The trees were planted at White's Road and at College Road. More trees were sent for planting at Park Drive and at Ashleigh estates. In Georgian Village, beech hedging was planted in the area with the leaf mould cages.

In the meantime other volunteers gathered litter and two full FCC bags were filled from the area leading off the M50 towards Castleknock. Then it was all back to Myo's for a cuppa and a chat. Many thanks to all the planters and pickers!
