Sat Clean Up - 7th May 2022

On a warm Saturday almost 25 volunteers showed up to work along Castleknock Road. Paths, walls and edges were cleared of weeds, the rosebed opposite Castello Bruno's was weeded and the cobblelock was cleaned. The large pollinator-friendly planted bed at the Castleknock Gate was also weeded. Meanwhile, back at Myo's two volunteers planted up the 8 hanging baskets with Myo's own plants. The Circle K planter across the street will be completed on Wednesday evening in matching foliage and flowering plants.

The village should look colourful for the TidyTowns competition adjudicator who will be visiting Castleknock in June. We'll be seeking even more hands on deck from the wider community as we approach D-Day.
