Today saw the two village planters (which Myo's had their painter face-lift for us recently) get new plants. The existing, old hebes had become completely pot bound and took some convincing to release. The planters were refilled with fresh compost and pollinator-friendly planting including includes salvias, cosmos, campanulas, bacopa, lobelia and verbena.
Newly added to the bench area too was a lovely, donated ceramic planter, also filled in a similar colour scheme.
These planters will be watered by volunteers using saved, grey water. The old hebes, you'll be happy to hear, have found a new home this evening, replanted on Peck's Lane. Waste not, want not!
