Congratulations to the successful election candidates

All five recently elected TD’s, Jack Chambers, Paul Donnelly, Emer Currie, Ruth Coppinger and Roderic O’Gorman were generous supporters of the Castleknock TidyTowns (CTT) Poster-Free Zone (PFZ) initiative.

Interestingly, the records show that no candidate who did not support the PFZ has ever been elected in the European, National or Local Elections in Castleknock.

CTT took this initiative on behalf of our community to:

• Address climate change and sustainability

• Ensure the safety of pedestrians and cyclists

• Prevent littering and obstruction of public infrastructure

Many thanks for the overwhelming support of the PFZ (and the positive feedback from local residents) which we received in this regard.
