Folks, we have TWO chances for you to get out and about with CTT this coming weekend:
On Saturday 5th - we will meet at MYO's car park at 10am for the March Clean Up. We'll be clearing fallen twigs from under the trees on Auburn Avenue, clearing weeds from pavements and generally bringing the heart of the village up to scratch again! We'll head to Myo's for tea, coffee and cake afterwards.
On Sunday 6th - we will meet at the Green space in Castleknock Way at 10am (just past the Laurel Lodge shopping centre) for a tree planting hour or two. We have 200 native Irish tree whips to plant - an assortment of holly, alder, birch, whitethorn and blackthorn. Volunteers from the Laurel Lodge Environmental Group will be coming along to partner with us too. And we'll head to the local community centre cafe for a coffee afterwards.
