Weekly Wed Village Tidy Up - meeting at 7.30pm at Myo's, weather permitting.

Strange what you can see when you're out and about in Castleknock. This mushroom was spotted at Park Avenue (think it's Dryad's Saddle). The 'punked up' leaf was spotted in the greenery opposite Shamon Boutique. Some research showed these are not spikes but 'leaf galls' caused by a very irritating mite. The unhappy leaf grows the protrusions as a result (where the mite promptly takes up residence!)
