3 van loads of donated items were taken last night and were well received in the Turkish Embassy.
Message came through today that they are now requesting only blankets and sleeping bags as these cannot be sourced in sufficient quantities locally. The Embassy staff also asked for financial donations to help pay for what the support workers can buy locally, immediately. A bank account has been opened locally in order to collect financial support for the citizens affected by the earthquakes in Türkiye. The details are as follows:
