TY Fridays!

Huge thanks to the TY students & Phoenix Class students, plus Elaine, Daniela & Michael, for their great work on today!

25 Students from Edmund Rice College TYs and the Phoenix Class Students cleared around the base of approximately 400 young trees planted in the spring. This essential maintenance will help the trees establish strong, healthy growth in the years ahead, contributing to the national tree plan to increase tree cover.

They also surrounded the tree bases with homemade mulch, enriching the soil, retaining moisture, and protecting the trees as they develop
