Replacement tree planting underway

Replacement trees are being planted by FCC in Castleknock, where trees were previously removed some years ago. FCC are planting 300 sturdy trees (following numerous representations from CTT). They are first planting outside houses where the occupants have made requests to FCC. Then they will plant the remaining trees across Castleknock housing estates where they are needed. Some locations visited so far were deemed unsuitable for planting as the locations were too close to services, light poles and footpaths etc. 300 new staked trees will definitely make a difference.
