Busy morning yesterday for work crews on College Road as they:
(1) Repainted the Castleknock stone nameplate at the junction of Carpenterstown Road and College Road.
(2) Carried out initial repairs to the broken Eir installation cover on the footpath along the boundary wall of Castleknock College, which was a definite trip hazard.
(3) Used a JCB hedge cutter and team of men to trim back the overgrown nettles, thorn bushes and tree branches as well as cut back the overgrowth on the footpath so that it is now usable by wheelchair users and buggies.
