Fingal Volunteers Appreciation Evening/Fingal Managing Awards 2025

Five CTT Volunteers representing Castleknock Tidy Towns were delighted to attend the annual Volunteers Appreciation Evening and Fingal Volunteer Managing Awards 2025

A big congratulations to all the Volunteer groups who attended and were awarded for their dedication to voluntary and community activity, making meaningful contribution to the quality of life within their communities. Community volunteering remains a cornerstone of Ireland’s sustainable and connected society.

Castleknock Tidy Towns was delighted to receive the Fingal Managing Volunteers Award – Level 3 — a well-deserved acknowledgement of our work, commitment and progress over the past seven years.

This award is based on organisational structures and systems assessed across five key criteria: Training, Policy Development, Volunteer Roles, Provision of Training, and Recognition and Valuing of Volunteers. Comprehensive supporting documentation, policies, procedures and examples of good practices were submitted to demonstrate that all requirements were fully met.

We are especially proud to note that no other organisation has gone directly to Level 3, making this achievement all the more significant.
