Every bit of litter hurts

And every bit of litter collected, counts.

On Saturday, 12 CTT volunteers litter picked along the Navan Road and Dunsink Lane. The slip roads off the M50 got some attention too (from inside the barriers). Most of the items collected were plastic bottles, cans, sweet and ice cream wrappers, discarded masks, glass bottles, about 1,000 cigarette butts, one hub cap, one cushion and two muddy phones.

The litter collection, which resulted in at least 14 full bags of litter collected went towards the big Dublin Community Clean Up.

Well done and thank you to everyone who took part. A very rewarding exercise!
