Cubs - Special Ops Planting Adventure

This week we partnered with the Cub Pack of the 175th Dublin Scout Group, Castleknock for a Special Ops Planting Adventure. We met on the Laurel Lodge green at 7.15pm equipped with seeds, bulbs and small plants. The cub pack and their leaders, all carrying torches, was split into 2 teams - litter picking and then planting. After an initial explanation about primroses, foxgloves and seed heads the teams headed off. 20 minutes later, the teams switched over. It was a great learning opportunity and super fun to plant by torchlight.

Thanks James Crushell, Castleknock Scouts' Group Leader, for arranging this great initiative with Castleknock Tidy Towns.
