Castleknock Tidy Towns nominated for Full Circle (Circular Living) Award!

We are delighted to share that Castleknock Tidy Towns’ (CTT) CommunityCycle initiative was nominated for the inaugural Full Circle Awards 2025 in the “Community Circular Hero” Category.

The Full Circle Awards, created by Circular.ie, celebrate the incredible efforts of people and groups driving positive change through circular living.

Although CTT’s Castleknock CommunityCycle wasn’t selected as a finalist after a very competitive shortlisting process, the Awards team shared that they were genuinely inspired by the impact of our work and the contribution we’re making to circularity and innovation in the community. We can take great pride that CTT’s Castleknock CommunityCycle initiative is fully aligned with Ireland’s national climate action strategy.

CTT set up and manages the Castleknock CommunityCycle initiative and facilitates over 4,200 local residents to give items away for free to avoid landfill and support circular living. Already more than 25,000 items have been given away for free, showing the true power of community in action.
