Little did we know when we invited the choir from St Brigid's National School to perform at the Castleknock's Lighting Up ceremony in December...although the talent was plain to see when they started to sing.
And this week our heartiest congratulations go to that Senior Choir on their phenomenal success at the Feis Ceoil 2023! They won both of their competitions during the day (Sacred Music Children’s choir and Primary Schools Two part with outstanding marks of 92 and 93!).
They progressed to the evening choir competition and won the O’Donovan award for Junior Choir of the Year while up against all the winning choirs of the day.
What a fantastic achievement for a choir that was only formed last June! Well done to all these talented young people and to Ms. Williams. Simply the best.
