Castleknock College TY students, accompanied by two of their teachers, joined CTT today for a productive and hands-on session

They got involved in a variety of tasks: working in the polytunnel, fitting mesh into planters, and preparing a rich soil and compost mix to repot young trees and plants. They also marked a rewilding area, with signage to highlight its purpose.

The students then checked the progress of Castleknock College’s adopted Leaf Cages on Auburn Avenue and were surprised at the rich mulch that is beginning to form under the dried leaves. They finished off the morning with watering the leaf cages.
