Castleknock Tidy Towns

Working together to make Castleknock

About Us

We are a voluntary group of individuals, who each donate time and energy to work on environmental projects and community clean ups around Castleknock village.

After a gap of 18 years, in 2019 Castleknock TidyTowns reformed to make Castleknock a better place for everyone to live, attend school, work, rest, play and enjoy.

Castleknock was entered into the 2019 National SuperValu TidyTowns competition and achieved a good baseline score. Castleknock received the award of  'BEST PRESENTED VILLAGE' at Fingal County Council's Greener Community Awards 2019. Our entry into the 2021 National TidyTowns competition gained us an additional 18 marks (the single biggest increase of any TidyTowns group in the Fingal area).

We are inviting you to come forward and join us when you can, to help out around the village. Or if working outdoors is not for you, you might like to volunteer for one of our sub-committees.

Currently we are following all Government guidelines when we meet.

We are now back working outdoors together each week.

Our weekly Saturday Clean Ups (10am to 12 noon) - we meet in Myo's car park at 10am each week and head back to Myo's afterwards for refreshments at 12 noon.
