Castleknock TidyTowns

Working together to make Castleknock beautiful!

About Us

We are a voluntary group of individuals, who each donate time and energy to work on environmental projects and community clean ups around Castleknock village.

After a gap of 18 years, in 2019 Castleknock TidyTowns reformed to make Castleknock a better place for everyone to live, attend school, work, rest, play and enjoy. Over 4,000 hours of volunteer hours were given by the local community in action in 2019/2020.

Castleknock was entered into the 2019 National TidyTowns competition and achieved a good baseline score. Castleknock received the award of  'BEST PRESENTED VILLAGE' at Fingal County Council's Greener Community Awards 2019.

We are inviting you to come forward and join us when you can, to help out around the village.

Currently we are following Government Covid-related restrictions so we are encouraging volunteers ONLY to undertake litter-picking or clean ups individually or in household bubbles.
